By using this App, you consent, pursuant to Article 6, para. (1), lit. (a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), to the collection, processing, and use of the data you provide and the data generated within the App by OBTEGO AG. A device-specific identifier is used to manage your consents.

1. Categories of Data Processed

Within the App, the following categories of data are in particular processed:

• Master and contact data provided during the onboarding process (e.g. company name, contact person, e-mail address, telephone number).

• Location data (GPS) used for documentation and assignment of construction sites.

• Images and videos uploaded by the user or captured via the device camera.

• Text entries, voice recordings, and their transcriptions generated during interactions with the AI.

• Metadata (e.g. timestamps, device type, operating system version).

2. Purposes of Data Processing

The collected data is processed for the following purposes:

• To provide the App’s functionalities,

• To carry out advisory and support services for professional users,

• To enable follow-up communication regarding projects, consultations or orders,

• To conduct internal quality and product analyses,

• To train, improve, and validate AI models (in compliance with applicable data protection requirements).

3. Disclosure to Third Parties

(1) For these purposes, data is transmitted to our technical service provider, which operates the systems on behalf of OBTEGO AG in a data center located within the EU/EEA.

(2) Processing is carried out exclusively in compliance with the GDPR and based on a data processing agreement pursuant to Article 28 GDPR.

(3) No data will be transferred to third countries outside the EU/EEA.

4. Data Retention Period

Data is stored only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes mentioned above or as required by applicable legal retention obligations.

5. Withdrawal of Consent

You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. The withdrawal can be made by e-mail to info@obtego.com. In case of withdrawal, the use of the App may be partially or entirely unavailable.

6. Deletion of data

You have the right to obtain information about your personal data stored by us at any time. In addition, you have the right to correct inaccurate data and to delete your personal data, provided that there is no legal obligation to retain it. Users can request the deletion of their account and the associated data directly by emailing info@obtego.com. We will carry out and confirm the deletion within the statutory deadlines.
