The App provided by OBTEGO AG offers AI-assisted support for the selection, preparation, and application of OBTEGO products (e.g. specialty impregnations, pretreatments, and sealers for cementitious floors).

The AI advisory function operates automatically based on the data entered or transmitted by the user (such as images, text input, voice recordings, GPS data, and other information).

The recommendations generated by the AI do not constitute binding technical advice or binding product recommendations. They cannot and should not replace the individual assessment and decision-making of a qualified professional user.

The AI advisory function is a supportive tool whose results are based on statistical patterns and probabilities derived from training data. System-related misjudgments, omissions, or so-called “hallucinations” are technically possible and do not constitute a defect of the App or a breach of duty by OBTEGO AG.

The final professional assessment, the creation of test areas, and the verification of the suitability of products and procedures for the specific case remain the sole responsibility of the user.

Professional users are expected to understand the limitations of automated advice and to critically review and evaluate the AI-generated results on their own responsibility.

OBTEGO AG shall be liable only for intent and gross negligence. Any liability for content-related errors, incorrect recommendations, or consequential damages arising from erroneous or incomplete AI output is excluded.

Orders placed via the App or during an AI dialogue shall only be deemed accepted after explicit order confirmation (“OC”) by OBTEGO AG.
